That Mitch Wehrli from Phoenix is a stud. And HUGE! His high school won the Arizona state championship in 2011 and he's only a junior. CU would be lucky to have him.

I wish they would stop trynig to copy the rediculousness of changing their unis, like that idiot Hawkins did, and stick with the traditional unis like they used last year (2011). Maybe it works for places like Oregon or ASU, but have more class than that and keep it traditional Embree!

Eh, can't take too much stock in this. The defense was probably tired after their 27 sacks. That problem needs to be solved NOW.

Sorry, 27 sacks is 27 sacks. Scrimmages nationwide are set up to benefit the offense. That number needs to be cut tenfold or else North Dakota State will be a challenge.

Don't worry too much about this. In 15 years of covering college football, John Henderson has just one CSU scrimmage to his credit. Rams are adapting to a whole new world ... they'll come around.

I think it may show two things.
You can't protect and you have some decent rushers.
No offensive line, young quarterback and no receivers is not a good thing.

He is obviously leaving the door open to leave. The only thing he said that matters is

He is waiting for the right opportunity. Hopefully we can keep him. CU does not have the deep pockets of many other schools so I think it is just a matter of time before he is lured away.

Tad Boyle told the fans in his hometown of Greeley that he had his "dream job" there. He did the same thing for UNC that he's done on a far greater scale at CU. Boyle worked in investment banking, so he can add up Tim Miles' contract at Nebraska and see what the Big Ten pays coaches (even at a school where football is king). If Boyle runs deep into the NCAA tourney next year, let's revisit this story about his willingness to stay home.

To me a stat like that is a credit to the people who schedule DU's games several seasons in advance. DU has done a great job scheduling some of the best programs in college hockey on an annual basis.

Hopefully DU's rigorous nonconference schedule will pay dividends in the NCAA Tournament.
